Why Boren

Established 1999. Built in Our Own Shop.

Boren Construction team on a residential remodeling project

Boren Construction has been remodeling homes in North Mississippi since 1999. That length of time in one area means most of the work comes from referrals and repeat customers, and it means the people you talk to at the start are the people accountable for the finished room.

The cabinet shop is the part that sets the work apart. Cabinetry, vanities, built-ins and countertops are built in-house, so a run of cabinets is made for your walls, your ceiling height and the way you actually use the space, instead of being trimmed down from a catalog box or padded out with filler strips.

Common Questions

Getting Started Questions

How do I get in touch with Boren Construction?
You can reach Boren Construction by phone at 662-552-2049, by email at [email protected], or by filling out the contact form on this page. Tell us the type of project you are planning and the city the home is in, and we will follow up to arrange a walkthrough.
What should I include when I contact you about a project?
The most useful details are the type of project, the city the home is in, and a short description of what you want to change. If you already have measurements, inspiration photos or a rough timeframe in mind, mention those too. The more we know up front, the more useful the first conversation is.
What happens after I send my project details?
We follow up to talk through the project and set up a walkthrough at the home. Seeing the space is what makes an estimate accurate, so the scope and pricing are put in writing after that visit rather than guessed from a form.
What kinds of projects does Boren Construction take on?
Kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, home remodeling and additions, and custom cabinetry and countertops built in our own shop. Flooring, interior and exterior painting and related improvements are handled as part of that work.
What areas does Boren Construction serve?
Boren Construction works in Starkville and communities throughout North Mississippi, including West Point, Columbus, Caledonia, Ackerman, Louisville, Tupelo, Kilmichael, Houston and Oxford. If you are not sure whether your town is covered, call and ask.
Does Boren Construction build its own cabinetry?
Yes. Boren Construction operates its own cabinet shop and builds custom cabinetry, vanities, built-ins and countertops in-house. That is why cabinetry can be sized and configured for your room instead of ordered from a catalog.
How long has Boren Construction been in business?
Boren Construction was established in 1999 and has built its reputation on referrals and repeat customers across North Mississippi.
